High school and college students rallied outside the courthouse on March 7th and then filled both the courtroom and an overflow room as BAMN attorney George Washington argued for the overturn of Prop 2, the ban on affirmative action in Michigan.
On the occasion of the court proceedings, Black Agenda Radio interviewed both George Washington and BAMN National Coordinator Donna Stern on BAMN’s strategy for restoring affirmative action in the states where it has been outlawed.
