The occupation of the UC Berkeley Office of Undergraduate Admissions Office on May 11th, 2012 was a huge success! Latina/o, black and Arab students are gaining confidence in their right to be on the elite public campuses of California, on their right to gain access to the doors of opportunity that these institutions offer, and the movement is growing in strength and numbers.
