On the morning of the Supreme Court’s announcement to hear BAMN’s challenge to state anti-affirmative-action bans, BAMN held press conferences in Detroit, MI, Berkeley CA, and Los Angeles CA welcoming the decision and calling on the new civil rights and immigrant rights movement to march on Washington April 10 for immigrant rights and on the day the US Supreme Court hears BAMN’s case.
