Yvette Felarca, Northern California Coordinator of BAMN and a middle school teacher in Berkeley was one of four teachers interviewed for a Education Radio program entitled “Teachers Fighting Back with Courage, Solidarity and Organizing.” She discusses the need to emphasize integration and equality for black, Latino/a, Native American and immigrant students in the fight for public education as well as the necessity for students to lead the fight for progressive change.
